OASIS, in business with the same owners since 1988, is a land operator and destination management company based in Istanbul, Turkey. The founder-partners studied at American Robert College and graduated from Ankara University majoring in international relations. In tandem with their academic background, the rich historical and cultural heritage of Turkey inevitably attracted them to work as professional tour guides. After 12 years of guiding experience and thinking that there was an urgent need for a true "OASIS" in Turkey, they decided to utilize their expertise in their own company.
OASIS has maintained stable growth as a destination management company handling various cutural, special interest groups and international meetings as well as being a tour operator, organizing a number of incentive, corporate, academic and health-care group trips abroad.
Reliability and creativity have become the two major principals that have led to the continued success of OASIS.
OASIS, as a consequence of niche aspirations in international travel market, has initiated Academia Oasis and Medica Oasis for handling educational and health-care travel organizations in Turkey.
OASIS runs its own small & cosy hotel Adatepe Pansiyonları as a hidden base for ecological and agricultural tourism activities in Adatepe Village which is registered as an historical and natural heritage site.
OASIS is also the founder partner of Adatepe Taş Mektep and Adatepe Olive Oil. Both are located in Adatepe Village clinging to the southern slopes of Mythological Mount Ida, close to the ancient sites of Assos and Homeric Troy. Adatepe Taş Mektep is a non-governmental academy arranging courses, seminars and workshops on History, Mythology, Philosophy, Photography, Painting and catering to ad hoc meetings, while Adatepe Olive Oil is an traditional family-owned olive oil factory which has been recently renovated and re-designed as an olive oil and soap museum, still producing Turkey's best natural olive oil and soaps.
OASIS is a member of IATA, JATA and TURSAB, and supports many local and global NGOs mainly related with environmental protection, cultural and historical conservation societies.
